Bay Window Treatments: Making a Safe Place for Your Child to Play

If you want a little area where your child can play with ease then look to your bay window. There are many ways that you can use bay window treatments to make this are into a haven for your child.

Instead of plain coloured roller shades, pick ones with lots of colours or designs. Popular children’s shows often have roller shade designs, so you can select from any of these for your child. As he or she gets older, you can change it out with their next big craze.

For roller shades or other window coverings, make sure that the cords are kept will out of the way of your child’s grasp. Children are curious creatures, and they will play and tug at anything. They could break and cord and stop the shades from working, but there are also cases of children harming themselves or others by accidentally wrapping the cord around their necks.
